Einhorn, our visiting therapy dog, is getting ready for school. We will let you know when she will return. She is looking forward to visiting with everyone, and hearing your stories and listening to you reading to her.

The New York Zoo will come to us on Wednesday, July 13! They will be at the Parish Fire Station at 2:00 pm. They will be bringing animals and lots of excitement.

The Parish Library will be closed on Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 4th.

BOTH SESSIONS OF THE TIE-DYE EVENT ARE FULL!

Bring your own clean white t-shirt, preferably 100% cotton and pre-washed in hot water and make a dazzling tie dyed shirt! We will provide all the rest!

The event will take place at Merrill Park on Wednesday, June 29th. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED because space is limited.

Call the Library (315) 625-7130 or email parlib@ncls.org to make a reservation. There will 2 sessions so choose the time when you make your reservation: First session 1:00pm-2:30 pm or 3:00 pm-4:30 pm.

Enjoy your summer with reading and fun-filled events! There are lots of great events in store for everyone with our Summer Reading Program! Sign up for the program begins on Monday, June 27th.

There will be weekly grab and go crafts, walking story time at Merrill, craft days at the Library and a special weekly event! And to make it all even better there are great prizes to win by reading and attending all these fun events. There will also be a weekly drawing for a McDonald’s gift card and at the end of summer reading every participant will get a coupon for a free ice cream sundae from the Gristmill Restaurant.

Join us for a gentle yoga flow suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Class begins with a focus on the breath, then moves slowly through a series of uncomplicated poses, ending with reflection. Safety and proper alignment are emphasized. Come to class to stretch and increase flexibility, and leave feeling relaxed and in tune with your body.

Weekly sessions begin on Monday, May 16th at 5:00 pm. Bring your own yoga mat and water. Space is limited so registration is preferred. The class is donation based.
